I don’t know where to begin. My heart is shattered .
Jake had been declining for the past 9 months or so with degenerative arthritis and myelopathy. He was treated for the past six months with homeopathic medicine. He appeared to be holding his own until last night. He started with symptoms of vestibular disease, vertigo. He could not even stand.
This evening was the last chapter in the book of life for my sweet Jake, who was rescued by my 100+ family from the bowels of Liberty City, Miami, with no food, water or shelter. Six years this month, would have been 6/26. My boy knew life and love for the past 6 years with me, unconditionally. It was his time to move on, and I’m just devastated.
Please keep me in your prayers for strength. I know Jake is running and playing in heaven without pain.
