I want to take a moment to say Thank you to our Awesome Volunteer Lisa who took our 100 + Rescue dog Helen home

I want to take a moment to say Thank you to our Awesome Volunteer Lisa who took our 100 + Rescue dog Helen home

I want to take a moment to say Thank you to our Awesome Volunteer Lisa who took our 100 + Rescue dog Helen home during the Hurricane & has decided to foster Helen until a Forever loving home is found. I will never forget the day that I saw Helen sitting in the Miami-Dade Animal Services kill shelter obese with a large tumor growing from her belly. She cried, she barked, she talked so loud I could not turn away. I’m so glad I did not. Helen is nothing but pure love. She’s getting her girlish figure back and is smiling all the time. The tumor was removed she’s healthy and nothing but love. Thank you Lisa for seeing in her what I did that day and keeping her out of the kennel environment which killed us everyday to see her sitting alone. Foster are angels in disguise. I hope this makes you all Smile as it has us.
It takes a village!
