We have some WONDERFUL news to share ..our little Frosty has found his FOREVER home!! Little Frosty was brought to the shelter with his litter mates, all of which were adopted and rescued except for him. When we rescued him we found out why, he could not walk! So everybody decided he was unworthy and left him there. We got him to the vet and the specialists, luckily all he needed was time, and cage rest. He spent quite a few weeks healing with our wonderful friends, adopters, and now fosters Jan Halas Stenger and her husband Erik. Thank you so much guys!! While he was recuperating I had previous adopters of ours messaging me almost daily for updates on him. And when he was finally ready and able we were able to bring Frosty to Marsha Carmichael and Warren.. this wonderful couple had previously adopted two very difficult dogs from a hoarding situation from us, Hudson and Nate. We knew this was not going to be an easy introduction, because although Hudson and Nate have come so very far with Marsha and Warren and their son, they are still terrified of people.. so we had to think outside the box on this one and trust that they were going to do the very best they could to do the introductions properly, slowly and correctly on their own. So after us being at the home for the meet and setting up a plan we decided to let them give it a try. We got continuous updates every single day a couple of times a day until we got the call that they were ready to make it official and that Frosty was forever a part of their family! We could not be happier to announce this, Frosty is home! He has an absolutely wonderful family to spend forever with!! Below are some photos of the journey HOME!
