Zeus update isnt a good one …

The Zeus update is not a good one. We had a meeting with Dr Cannon, and she is not very optimistic. The xray and the ultrasound both show that he has a very small liver. On the ultrasound she saw what she believes is a sea of blood cells that should not be in his abdomen and around his liver, she explained it as a back up on 95, when everything stops and there is no where to go people drive off the sides and try to find a way around, well his blood flow is doing the same thing due to not being able to all filter through his small liver. She said what that is called is acquired liver shunts. And sadly if she is correct and if that is what is happening then there is no cure for him and we will have to make that very difficult decision. .she did say that the blood gas report that comes in tomorrow would be very telling, because as she said, she can not make the call just from the ultrasound, because it is not an exact science, and she needs definitive proof, and of course we do to. So that report and also performing a small procedure tomorrow of putting a port in, running contrast, while taking a CT scan will also help with a more definitive diagnosis, and then we go from there.. so we all need to pray that for the first time Dr Cannon is wrong in her hunch, and that that report comes back different then she believes it will.. because that is Zeus’ only hope at this point.. we need another miracle. .so whatever you pray to..please pray for Zeus tonight.♡
