Today we set out to bring 2 dogs into safety.

They had been dumped by their previous owners over 3 weeks ago in Florida City in a very busy parking lot.
People feeding them could not catch them and we 100 + were asked to help. unfortunately when we arrived we were told they were fed in the morning making them not hungry or eager to step into our trap. We sat waiting for hours until Finally the male entered the trap and he was caught. The female went running. We slowly kept our eyes on her to make sure she did not run into the busy traffic. We saw her crossing the busy road and immediately stopped the traffic until she was safe. We stayed until dark. We took the male to Lauderdale Veterinary Specialists for the night and are heading back first thing tomorrow morning early to bring the female into safety. Our hearts are heavy. I’m sure it will be another sleepless night. We are asking for your support by donating, but most importantly praying we bring the female into safety tomorrow. The male is 1 yr as sweet as can be. Starving for love and affection. We named him Howie.
