THIS IS A VERY URGENT PLEA TO YOU, OUR AMAZING, WONDERFUL SUPPORTERS!!

We are in the middle of such a dire moment for our rescue, we are at a COMPLETE standstill. We are working tirelessly to try and play catch-up with our outstanding bills, but they are so large, we are barely making a dent. Lately we have had some very, very serious medical cases that have racked up some very large bills, on top of the normal day-to-day expenses of boarding, meds, training, special foods, etc. We also are still paying for, and will continue to pay for our forever fosters, including our most recognizable and our hospice foster Harmony, who has been in kidney failure since she was just weeks old. We were blessed to find an amazing foster mommy for her to live out however long we are blessed to have her with us on this earth. We at 100+ are dedicated to Harmony and will continue to pay for whatever she needs, whenever she needs it. That includes her 17 blood transfusions to date (and sure to be many more), all of her medications and supplements that she needs to stay as healthy as possible, and her special food. To date Harmony’s care has cost our organization $28,362.08 and will continue, for as long as she is alive. You may be asking yourselves why we are spending that much money on one dog. We made a promise to her, and we intend to keep it, she deserves that! That being said, I’m sure that all of you who follow our rescue have noticed that we have slowed down, to the point of being at a standstill now. As of this moment we cannot bring in any more dogs, we cannot assist in any rescues. We cannot continue our mission. That does not mean the calls, private messages, emails, and personal pleas for help have stopped, because they have not, they have actually tripled! We hate telling everyone NO. We can’t help, we can’t go, we can’t take them in. The abandoned, the owner surrenders, the dogs dying on death row, the ones dodging traffic. We have to say no. It is KILLING us to be in this position, but we STILL have 31 dogs, currently in our care. At one of our hospitals the bill is $12k+, and that’s just one. The bill at LVS, our specialty hospital is close to $20k and climbing every day due to some very critical dogs that have needed their expertise and care. Just to give you an idea of what it costs our organization to save some of these lives, here is a handful of figures. Patterson was $13,991.56. Murphy was $15,918.78. Babycakes was $5,302.27. Buttercup was $5,111.53. Cashew was $7,996.23. Kindred was $8,240.25. Bobby was $15,396. Hannah was $7,709.40. Cameron was $3,204.33. Disco was $7,097.83. That is just a handful of the beautiful lives we have saved this year, or at least put everything we could into trying to save, as in sweet Patterson and Babycakes case. I want to be clear, these are not total numbers for these dogs. Most of these dogs are still under our care, and will remain under our care, so their bills will continue to climb. Bobby for instance will need a CT scan in the next few weeks, which will cost us thousands, along with his ongoing medical care. Also, please keep in mind this is not all of our dogs or all of our bills. This is just a handful, this does not include our quarantine hospital, or our cage free boarding facility. To give you an even better idea we are attaching some invoices from Imperial Point and LVS to this post. You will see last year at IP we spent over $308 thousand dollars, and this year we are up to almost $138 thousand dollars. The LVS invoices show we are at over $80 thousand this year, and still going. We are killing ourselves every weekend, booking as many fundraisers and adoption events as we can possibly handle, to try and make the much needed money to pay down our bills. Still after we pay down our bills with what we have made, another week comes, and the bill goes right back up to what it was the week before. We have never been in this position. We have never had to basically completely stop our mission, and rescuing, but we are at that place now. So this is where we need all of you, our amazing supporters, who have watched us work, watched us struggle, watched us lose, and watched us succeed. WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT NOW MORE THAN EVER!!. We need YOU to be able to continue OUR mission, the mission WE ALL SHARE. We need you to help us get back out there and continue to save lives!! Let’s do this!! We can’t do it alone, we need you. PLEASE HELP US CONTINUE OUR MISSION!! PLEASE DONATE!! Together we cannot only save one life, but just maybe we can change the lives of many.
