Murphy is home.

Murphy is home.

Murphy stole and broke the hearts of so many. Murphy was brought to the animal hospital by his owner after he had been attacked by another dog. Every rib was broken, he had wounds, he was in excruciating pain. We rushed him to the emergency hospital where he remained. He underwent major surgery and therapy and lived in a body cast until his ribs could heal. Thanks to the outpour of donations from our amazing supporters, we were able to make it all happen for our boy! We even ran a shirt campaign to help raise much needed funds for Murphy. We saw the life come back in his eyes. 2 women with hearts of gold called and wanted to foster him to help him heal. Lisa and Carol are long time friends and supporters of 100+ and they gave Murphy so much love and gave him the opportunity to finish recovering in a quiet, loving home environment. As we hoped and prayed, Murphy stayed!! Lisa and Carol made the announcement at our last karaoke fundraiser event that Murphy wasn’t going anywhere!! He was never leaving! He was home. We are forever thankful to our supporters for allowing us to help Murphy, to the amazing staff at Lauderdale Veterinary Specialist for caring for our boy and to Lisa and Carol for opening their home and hearts to him. This is what rescue is all about!!
