Meet Monkey!
Good morning update on the male 3-4 yr unaltered pug with a microchip that is Not registered. As we stated last night in our videos, he was found on Taft and 28th street in Hollywood Florida. We received the call late last night at 11:30. Although the woman who called could not help by bringing him indoors as she is afraid of dogs. When we heard he was left outside her apartment pool area in the heat, we knew we had to jump in our car and bring him into safety. Please know when we post all details we are Not in any way judging or trying to create any negative comments. We are always open and honest with all details and rescues. We are grateful this woman took the time to pick up the phone and call us for help. It may not make sense and we may not agree with her decision to not take him inside and leave him outdoors. What we are grateful for is that she reached out to us. We immediately rushed the dog to lvs where he was treated immediately as he was overheating and the Dr. Stated he would not have survived the night outside in his condition. He is doing very well this morning. We will continue to look for a potential owner and in the meantime our wonderful foster Robert is taking him home shortly to foster him. If an owner is not found, we will completely vet him and he will then go up for adoption. If you are interested in adoption please send us an email with your contact information. We will keep you posted and updated as we always do. Another life saved. Let’s all please stay focused on the positive. Thank you for your ongoing love & support. 100 + Abandoned Dogs of Everglades Florida. 100PlusAbandonedDogs@gmail.com
