God received another little angel named Birdie

I have so much going through my head right now I really don’t even know where to begin so I’m going to just speak from my heart. First I want to say God received another little angel named Birdie. I received a call from a woman who found a little dog that was injured neglected and had nowhere to go almost 1 yr ago.. Our rescue organization took her in during the middle of the night I gave her the name birdie. I came up with the name because a very dear friend adopter / volunteer / Foster a true angel and a gift to our rescue organization named Lori Sums had recently lost her best friend, her life partner, her heart, her husband mark who was such a big part of our rescue & our lives. Everyday we would watch Lori go through the heartache & the tears. We try to give Lori the words of encouragement to keep pushing forward as that is what your husband mark would want her to do. Lori decided to Foster little birdie about 11 months ago. A few days after Lori’s husband passed away every single day one little lonely bird would sit on the wire outside her back door and just look at her. It was always one bird. We gave that bird a nickname Mark bird after her husband as we all felt that he was watching over her. As I am speaking these words I have the Goosebumps covering my entire body because what I’m about to say next is sadly we had to let go of little Birdie due to bladder cancer. She went in loving arms with Lap of Love at the home and she is out of pain and we believe in a better place. The day after we said our goodbyes to little Birdie this appeared, not one little birdie on the wire outside Lori’s home, but 2!! Birdies. We Believe little birdie is now with Mark bird watching over our sweet Lori. If this does not give you faith and make you believe I don’t know what will Or what would. With all this being said our little birdie has now gone to the Rainbow Bridge may she rest in Eternal peace. Mark we love and miss you beyond words. That big beautiful smile will stay with us forever in our hearts. Until we meet again this is not goodbye. May you both rest in Eternal peace and continue to watch over our Lori the babies and this rescue. 💙💜
