    Thanks for all of the wonderful things you do! Suggestion: See if you can find a program that will train Gage and/or Godiva for jobs. Especially Gage. He has abundant energy and I think would respond to a man very well. I believe he would be excellent on a working farm. Somewhere where he must go for miles. Some dogs have work in their DNA. I think his breed does. If part German Sheppard or (as I think) Australian Kelpie (See Google)… If these are herding dogs, they will only be frustrated sitting at home as pets. I hope this helps. They may not be as bonded as you think, but instead stay close in an attempt to herd each other since there is no cattle or sheep nearby.
