Buttercup was released from Lauderdale Veterinary Specialists

Good Morning,
Buttercup was released from Lauderdale Veterinary Specialists & is resting comfortably.
Friday early Evening we believe Buttercup took a seizure and was rushed into LVS where she was admitted and spent the evening being monitored. The Dr.s ran some tests & started Buttercup on Keppra along with 2 antibiotics. She came into our organization after Amy received a call that Buttercup was giving Birth on the streets. Amy Immediately ran to find Buttercup Overheating with a very distended belly. Immediately rushed to the Animal Hospital where an ultrasound and x-rays were performed. No pregnancy, a huge tumor which needed to be surgically removed. The tumor was removed and later we were told it was cancer after biopsy results. It was A low grade cancer according to pathology. This sweet Angel has lived outside on the streets most of if not all her life. Has had litters & litters. We made Buttercup a promise to love her unconditionally & do everything to show her peace & comfort for her remaining days. We cannot erase her horrible sad past, but we Will make each day to come a Beautiful one. We thank you for your love, your support & prayers for Buttercup. 100 + Team ♡
