I have struggled all day with the right words to say for Amy and her whole team. My heart broke for them all as I watched what happened to Soldier and also to them. I watched as I sat in the comfort of my bed, snuggling with our Oliver (fka Curly). I just don’t know how you all do it but I am SO grateful because I have had two of the biggest blessings of my life thanks to you! First was Dunkin (fka Pepino). His story is the classic “Who Rescued Who?” as HE was our SAVING GRACE in so many ways, including turning my oldest from a girl petrified of dogs to one who can now not imagine life without a dog. When we lost him due to cancer, we were devastated and was not sure we could ever do it again, until Oliver! I sobbed when I saw your team get him from the shelter. I knew we could love again! I could not have even imagined a heart could hold so much love for these precious babies! Amy Roman-Daniello and all THE TEAM…you have saved so many precious doggies and in doing so you have also saved so many humans. I pray that you will have the strength to stay the course and the peace of knowing how much your work means to us! Stay strong, keep fighting, and know that what you do matters! I do believe that God has placed you in the right place at the right time with the right people to help us find a little piece of heaven on Earth. I just spoke to the owners they are completely devastated. Their dog sardine 7 years of age who is micro chipped and registered jumped out of their car on Sunday at the TJ Maxx parking lot in Pembroke Pines. A witness stated a white car pulled up and the dog was taken. The family is meeting with private investigator Jamie Katz tomorrow morning it has been reported there are posters, it is posted on next door app. Listening to this couple cry with a broken heart just killed me. It could be any one of us. Please share far and wide for sardine to find his way home. All the contact information is above.
